The Nottingham Food and Drink Festival may be over for another year, but I think it’s safe to say that it’s left a lasting impression – and not just on our waistlines!
Things were a little bit different this year. It was extended from four to 12 days for a start, which was great for dedicated foodies like us. The celeb chef demos of previous years were replaced with a packed programme of food-themed events and masterclasses at bars and restaurants across the city and there were lots of special Festival menus on offer too. There was also a Food and Drink Market in the Square, which certainly made our lunchtimes interesting
