    Celebrating 1 Year of Belgo in Nottingham!

    Belgo Nottingham, the brand’s first restaurant outside London, was one year old at the end of April. We went along to this unique venue in the Lace Market to celebrate with Belgian biers, rope grown mussels and other delicious treats off their brand new menu.

    Chatting to the friendly team, we were blown away to hear that in the past year the restaurant has served up more than 11,000 kilos of mussels and 15,304 bottles of beer in Nottingham alone. It is fair to say that Nottingham locals and visitors alike have fully embraced the spirit of Belgo (who serve up 52 craft beers – each accompanied by their

    Exploring Curious Tavern – Nottingham’s hidden gem

    The Curious Tavern is situated in Nottingham city centre’s oldest hotel, constructed in 1822, and formerly known as “The George” (now Mercure Hotel).

    Serving Starbucks coffee and offering a light, fast daytime menu, there is an addition of  great traditional tavern comfort foods with the evening offer at the Oyster and Champagne Bar serving tasty seafood delicacies.

    The decor reflects opulence of George IV’s renowned style, design of the venue has been inspired both by the historic Georgian architecture of the building combined with 21st century chic.
