Conference and Events Team website now live!

Already known the world over as home of legendary outlaw, Robin Hood, Nottingham’s reputation for its destination as a centre for great conferences, meetings and events has just stepped up a notch with the launch of a brand new website. www.nottinghamevents.uk.com provides event organisers with instant access to over 40 venues in the city along with specialist support and assistance from a dedicated conference and events team.

Launched by Nottingham Event Team, the convention bureau at Experience Nottinghamshire, the new stand-alone site boasts a vibrant new-look and a user friendly navigation to showcase the vast array of venues available across the city – from a 10,000 seat arena to unique heritage sites.  Amongst the many new features, the site allows users to search by venue type, including residential and non-residential options, room layout, capacity and location.

Nottingham, located in the heart of England, is well connected by transport and prides itself on being a top city to host a great event as well as a leading centre for culture, heritage, shopping, sport and the arts.

David Randall, Director of Conferencing and Events, Experience Nottinghamshire says: “We are totally committed to promoting Nottingham as the perfect choice destination for conferences and events.  Our new website will make it even easier for event organisers to discover how we can help them create a truly memorable experience.   The facilities and capacity of venues in the city is continually increasing and our aim is to bring more people to the city to see for themselves the wonderful venues and opportunities on offer.

“We have been working in partnership with the city’s key venues, hotels and businesses to showcase the city’s business tourism benefits and our Nottingham Event Team offers event organisers a one-stop, stress-free point of contact when planning their events, no matter how large or small.”

Nottingham is a beautiful city with a lot to discover, and as well as being the destination of choice for conferencing and events, its leisure and sporting events are world renowned.   Choose from live music, theatre performances, festivals, outdoor and sporting events, right on our doorstep.

So, for booking a conference or event venue in Nottingham, there is no better place to go than www.nottinghamevents.uk.com, email conferences@experiencenottinghamshire.com or call  0115 962 8310.
