Its the last weekend of November which means it’s almost Christmas!
The winter wonderland that opened when the lights were switched on Wednesday, will be on until January 6th and includes a range of delicious winter food and drink, market stalls and a brand new Narnia snug for a quick tipple!
Enjoy over 55 art and craft stalls at the Christmas Arts and Food Market, and Harley Open Studios, which is happening this weekend at the Harley Gallery. Tempt your tastebuds and buy gifts for loved ones… it’s all there and it’s all free! Don’t forget to stop off for some delicious food at the Welbeck Farm Shop, which is just next door!
The Theatre Royal is holding Opera North from today until the 24th and promises a tale for our times brought to life in a stunning multimedia production. The grandest of French opera, Gounod’s passionate music has made Faust popular with audiences worldwide.
Scottish band Shooglenifty will be at the Djanogly Theatre at Lakeside Arts Centre with powerful dance tunes, traditional reels and manic hoedowns on the 23rd November.
More Christmassy fun can be found at the Patchings Christmas Market at Patchings Art Centre with a selected range of exhibitors whose work covers a variety of mediums and products. On from the 23rd-25th November. This event is free.
