Nottinghamshire Pride 2016

Nottinghamshire Pride is back this Saturday with a packed day of celebrations painting rainbow colours across the city.

After meeting with A Big Proud Kiss at 11am, there will be a march from Castle Gate, leading all the way to Broad Street in Hockley for one very colourful street party!

Acts on the main stage include Rob Green and fabulous Nottingham drag queens Vivienne Lynsey and Marilyn Sane.

Broadway Cinema will also be hosting the Dance Arena and just opposite in Lee Rosy’s Tea, you’ll find the poetry corner giving talks and performances to listen to over 100 varieties of loose leaf tea.

Celebrations are kicking off early tonight with a pre-pride party at Nottingham Contemporary. As well as live music and party DJ sets, there will be the chance get hands on with music production workshops and interactive visuals.
