The inaugural Nottinghamshire Tourism Awards, sponsored by TMRjobs.com, are upon us and the finalists in each category have now been announced.

The Nottinghamshire Tourism Awards will play a major role in showcasing the fantastic range of high quality experiences and venues we offer for visitors here in Nottinghamshire. The awards will have a tremendously positive impact on the tourism industry in Nottinghamshire, providing a benchmark for all businesses to aspire to and delivering significant benefits to shortlisted and winning businesses alike.

There are 13 categories at this year’s awards, with an additional category for ‘Nottinghamshire Tourism Ambassador’, a prize which will be awarded on the evening to an individual who has supported the tourism industry in Nottinghamshire for over 5 years.

The award ceremony will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Thursday 26th October and will see ITV’s Dean Edwards hosting the evening.

This year only the winners of the Nottinghamshire Tourism Awards will be eligible to apply for the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence and compete with other businesses from across the country. Now in their 29th year, the Awards celebrate the very best in English tourism championing excellence in best practice and customer service.
