Brick Wonders at The Harley Gallery

Guest blog by Carl Gibson – Gallery Co-ordinator at The Harley Gallery.

In 2015 The Harley Gallery welcomed Warren Elsmore’s LEGO® based exhibition ‘Brick City’, an exhibition of famous architecture from around the world, created entirely from LEGO® bricks. This was a break from the norm for The Harley Gallery, used to showing the likes of Sir Peter Blake and Grayson Perry, to name but a few.

The experiment was a success and the exhibition drew huge crowds daily with the final tally breaking all records for visitor numbers to a single exhibition at the gallery. Many people came back more than once, and brought children and grandchildren

This stylish restaurant is already a firm favourite with our team, thanks to its focus on using seasonal, local produce and creating hearty, wholesome fayre.

Each season sees a new menu, ensuring the dishes on offer are using the best ingredients and are fitting with the weather outside. You can read our review of the restaurant’s autumn and summer menus on our food blog NottingYum.
